Scott Love - Founder, President and Chief Designer of NoteTaker
Scott Love has over 20 years of product management, design and user experience in outline and information processing software technologies. A graduate of Stanford University, he began his Silicon Valley career at Apple Computer (Apple //e and Macintosh), worked at NeXT and now leads AquaMinds. He has contributed to some of the industry's most innovative personal computer technologies and new product introductions. He has also worked at such pioneering software companies as ForeFront, Living Videotext (during the development and introduction of MORE, Dave Winer's breakthrough outline processing product), Millennium Software (a co-founder of the company that introduced and marketed the award-winning NoteBook for NeXTSTEP ten years ago), Farcast (a co-founder) and more recently Netcode, which he also co-founded and which was purchased by Netscape.
He founded AquaMinds to develop third generation outline and information processing tools for OS X. NoteTaker represents a breakthrough and a first on OS X for innovation, creativity and information processing tools. NoteTaker has evolved rapidly in the past year to become a must-have OS X productivity tool for knowledgeworkers, professionals, academics and students. In the coming months, AquaMinds will be adding more power and features to its flagship OS X products while also introducing other versions for other platforms in 2004. AquaMinds goal is to be the leading OS X developer of outline and information processing applications.
Michael McNabb - Vice President of Technology and Chief Software Architect of NoteTaker
Michael McNabb brings over 25 years of software design and engineering leadership to AquaMinds' creative effort. A former software manager at NeXT Computer, he has an insider's knowledge of the depth of Apple's Cocoa development framework (the basis for NoteTaker), having helped direct the evolution of its predecessor, NeXT's AppKit. His broad software architectural experience includes work in artificial intelligence, real-time media and scientific applications, and web-delivered applications, on OS X, Windows, Linux, and Irix. Prior to joining AquaMinds, he was one of the most experienced and successful Java consultants and mentors in the Bay Area. Michael McNabb holds a doctorate from Stanford University, and is also an award-winning composer whose work is published by the venerable B. Noah Edelstein - Manager, Technical Services and Chief Architect of Web Operations
Noah Edelstein is an eight year veteran of the web development industry. After earning a BA degree from Wesleyan University, Noah gained valuable experience working for Nvolve (an early web communities site) and Excite@Home, where he played a key role building Excite.com's international sites. Now with AquaMinds, Noah is responsible for maintaining the company web site, storefront, and user feedback system. When he's not answering user feedback or adding pages to the site, Noah can usually be found playing ice hockey or his '78 Rickenbacker bass guitar.
